I have an area of tissue that is swollen about half the size of a golf ball?

It's past five pm so I cant get ahold of the doctor's office until morning. It doesn't hurt; I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas. It's soft and not inflamed. It itches a little, but I have skin issues so that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Any ideas what it could be and if it's serious?I have an area of tissue that is swollen about half the size of a golf ball?
could possibly just be one of your glands swollen but suggest that you ring the doctors to get it checked.
Did this just happen? Half the size of a golf ball is the size of a quarter. You might have been bitten by a bug of some sort. But, if it gets red and you get breathy, get to the er.
Well it is better if u see the doctor very soon. Maybe it is bone of fish. The reason I said it, because some time it will stock and it is hard to swallow it.
where on the body is it? Tomorow you should go and get it checked, but if it's itchy and inflamed it could well be just an insect bite - try cooling it with ice wrapped in cloth see if itching lessens - but probably best to get it checked in the morning
