I've being wearing contacts for almost a year, and my prescription was 2.0 and 2.5., so last week y got a new pair of glasses with a new prescription, but the power raised to 2.75 ans 2.50, and now i feel ready dizzy with this glasses, is that normal or the power of the glasses might be too strong??I have a new pair of glasses, but i cant see with them?
Conventional optometry has been hiding behind things like a driving economic force for some time. It is this sector -- the corrective lens industry -- that is making the profits, that has the money to decide what research gets funded, and what conclusions are permissible to print in the optometric and ophthalmological journals.
If they were to reveal that vision could be improved naturally (just by yourself), then a huge sector of the economy would go up in smoke.
Read more about what happened to this girl Jennifer when she wore glasses for the first time, what she observed, then read especially what Alex Eulenberg says: http://groups.google.co.im/group/sci.med...
Her experience is similar to mine when I wore glasses AND contacts a long time ago.
Yes it's the wrong perscription. Change it soon because if not your eyes will get worse.
I presume that the power was tested when making the new glasses. If you are having problems with them, go back to the shop and get the power checked. See the eye doctor or the optician who checked your eyes and get the new glasses checked.
hi,
first off, you can't compare the Rx's because contacts are on the eyes and glasses about 3/4 inch away from the eye. it's not unusual to get dizzy or have blurred vision breaking in a new RX..but if it continues, see your optician.
take them back -they were not made correctly.
well go and get them cleaneed
