I have a pill that has numbers and a letter V on it?

i would like to know what it is i found it in the floor of the house i just rented it has 4212 on one side and a V in a funny shape on the other side any suggestionsI have a pill that has numbers and a letter V on it?
It is a generic form of either lortab or darvocet. Both are narcotic analgesics for moderate/severe pain. Habit forming. Usually not life threatening
Generally it is the name or sign of pharmaceutical company which manufactured the drug on tablet.SO you should throw away the tablet,donot use it.
