I see a black kind of flashy spot in my eye only when I blink, anyone else experience this?

It doesn't seem like a normal floater but I could be wrong. It is most prevalent when I am looking at a white wall or bright area. I have an eye appt. next week, but am kind of worried. It does sound like a larger floater, but of course, no one except your eye doc can be sure. I have developed a floater that only bothers me when I read by bright light, or go outside in bright sunlight.. it was worriesome until I had it checked out. Try not to worry until you see your doctor next week!
Well, from what i have experienced you probably looked at something bright and your eyes tried to stop you from having damage done to your eyes. So, if you don't look at anything bright as in sunlight (at the sun) that spot should disappear within about 5 minutes. Don't worry. You'll be fine.
dont know if i spelled this right but there is a condition called parsplanitis. its a rare eye disorder. my wife had to see a specialist about it
sounds like a floater to me. If your vision is not affected, have no pain, and it is only one floater your appt next week is fine. If you see a lot more floaters get in sooner
