If you are wanting to know how to assess a patient / client holistically then you need to consider any psychosocial, economic, political, or spiritual issues, that may have an impact on patients care needs.
With regards to diversity as a whole then you need to be aware of issues such as gender, sexuality, age, ethnicity, religion, mental capacity etc.
